Who was Joseph Stalin?

-          Born December 18th 1878.  Died on March 5th 1953. 
-          At the age if twelve was involved in a horse carriage accident which permanently damaged his left arm.  Later on in his life this enabled him from fighting in World War I.
-          Age 7 he had small pox which permanently scarred his face, and gave him a look that scared people.
-          At age 16 he received the Georgian Orthodox seminary scholarship, but he rebelled against the imperialist and religious order.  So the scholarship was taken away from him.
-         Statues of Stalin depict him to look like Alexander III, although historians are not 100% sure. 
-       This is a picture of Alexander III.
  He ran a Totalitarianism Government 
   §  This is a term used to describe dictatorship
o   The first thing he wanted to do once he gained power was modernize the economy.
o   He was obsessed with the fear of another invasion of a foreign country, into the Soviet Union.
