Bad things he did in Russia

-          Set up the Great Terror

o   Killed Millions in Labour camps which were located in the extreme northern regions of Siberia near the Artic Circle.

o   Penal Labour Camps

§  Most of the people executed were workers, peasants, homemakers, teachers, priests, musicians, soldiers, pensioners, ballerinas, beggars, and also most Americans.

§  Also others died from diseases and malnutrition.

-          Collectivization meant that their was a drastic drop in the living Standard for many peasants.

-          Soviet Famine of 1932-1933

o   This was due to the initial upheaval in the changing agricultural sector which disrupted food production in the early1930’s.
